5 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Queen Elizabeth Safari offers you an opportunity to go Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park, so far the best safari activity in Africa. With a minimum of 400 mountain gorilla population which is more than half of their entire world population (880) of which twelve groups are habituated for trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park , making it the ultimate Uganda gorilla safari destination. This gorilla safari destination is positioned in the south west of Uganda stretching over a geographical coverage of 321 Sq. Km standing at an elevation of 1,160 – 2,607 Km above sea level. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park comprises of 32,092 ha appearing as one of the largest East African areas that still feature Afro montane lowland forest which is credited to have survived the last ice age making it an ideal habitat for a myriad of Species and noted to have the great density of trees at its respective average in the whole of East Africa. The diversity of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be witnessed in the range of Species that it supports.



Itinerary
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

You will be picked up from your overnight accommodation and you will be transferred Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. There is a brief stopover at the Uganda Equator for breakfast and photo moments. Thereafter continue on the journey to Ruhija with lunch in Kabale town. You will be checked into your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will be be transferred to the briefing area. Here you will attend briefing and thereafter begin your gorilla trekking. Gorilla Trekking can last you up to 6 hours. Gorilla trekking is a physically demanding exercise and require good fitness and endurance to undertake. After gorilla trekking, meet your driver who shall then transfer you back to your accommodation.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game Drive and Boat Cruise

With packed breakfast, depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving early afternoon. After checking into your accommodation and having lunch, You will head to Katunguru gate to begin your game drive. Highlights of the game drive include tree climbing lions, elephant herds, and large herds of buffalo.
Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise

After breakfast, you will drive Kasenyi Gate and begin your morning game drive. You have opportunities to view heards of buffalo, elephants, lions, leopards, antelopes, and many species of birds. You will also visit one of the fishing communities living with in the Park.
After Lunch you will drive to Mweya peninsula, where you will begin your boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel; this will last you about 2 hours. You will return to meet with the driver who then shall drive you back to the Lodge for your dinner & overnight.
Visit Lake Katwe, Return to Kampala

After breakfast, head to Lake Katwe to see the local salt mining activities at the lake. Learn about salt mining and interact with the salt miners regarding their experience in salt mining. Thereafter, embark on a journey back to Kampala with lunch enroute. You will arrive in the late afternoon.
