Enjoy This 4 days Uganda Gorilla Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and come face to face with the massive giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park as you embark on gorilla trekking in the thick jungles of Bwindi. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the south western part of Uganda covering an area of 321 km2 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The forest lies at an altitude between 1160 m -2607 m above sea level and is famous for being home to over 300 mountain gorillas.



Itinerary
Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive a welcome from our representative / your tour and driver guide who will then transfer you to a hotel within Entebbe. Whilst at the hotel, you will be briefed about the tour and the next day’s travel schedule
Overnight in Entebbe
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a very early morning breakfast, our tour and driver guide will pick you up for a departure journey to Bwindi – South West of Uganda. The genesis of our journey will see us through Central Uganda where we will have a short stop at the Equator en-route before our arrival in Mbarara in time for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Museum. After lunch, we will then continue south west through Kabale (also called the “Switzerland of Africa”), hills with cultivated terraces, mountains and a forest. On the last hill, there un folds the beautiful views of the virunga volcanoes of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. At this point, we are just a short distance away from Kisoro, where we will stay.
For a trek in Bwindi North, we will travel through Rukungiri District passing villages, cultivated farms, hills before we reach in Buhoma Bwindi.

Overnight in Kisoro
Gorilla tracking

The day of Gorilla tracking!! In the early morning, you will report to the Uganda Wildlife Authority Offices of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for pre-briefing before you start the trek. In groups of eight and under the guidance of an experienced wildlife ranger, you will go looking for the “Gentle Giants”. The guides will take you to the place where the Gorillas where seen the day before and follow the trail to the place where they spent the previous night! You will then follow the trail of broken branches and droppings to where the Gorillas are. Enjoy the unforgettable and emotional experience of your life as you come face to face with these Gentle Giants!!! You will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the Gorillas. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7:00 PM. Being physically fit is recommended.
Overnight in Kisoro
To Entebbe and departure

Embark early on a departure journey back to Entebbe. We will have lunch in Mbarara town and again a short stop at the Equator for photo shoots, buying souvenirs / gifts and have tea or coffee. We will then bring you directly to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight home.
